Course Description

Inclusion and representation is key to feeling part of a community and developing a sense of belonging in all our students. All schools  aim to be inclusive but for our students with neurodiversity it does not always feel this way. 
In January 2024, 4.8% of pupils in the UK had an EHC plan and 13.6% of pupils receive SEN support.  The most common type of need for those with an EHC plan is ASD.

In this self-directed e-learning course you will explore:  

  • Practical strategies for the whole school
  • Autism friendly classroom strategies
  • How to develop autism friendly routines
  • Masking and the after-school impact
