Looking to improve teaching and learning in literacy in Key Stage 2? Then this course, which draws on advice from the recently revised EEF Guidance Report Improving Literacy in Key Stage 2, will support you in your task.The Education Endowment Fund is a key agency in promoting and using educational research to inform school improvement and raise attainment, particularly for disadvantaged pupils.
Its recent revised report Improving Literacy in Key Stage 2 is based on the research findings of many studies which, between them, cover all aspects of the English curriculum including developing language, reading comprehension, teaching composition and the use of structured interventions.
Each recommendation of the report will be explored in turn and delegates will given the opportunity to reflect on current practice and consider the next steps for their school.
