This session is for all chairs and vice chairs, or those aspiring to the role.We will:
- Explore the different aspects of being a chair, including the importance of developing effective relationships with the head teacher and other governors
- Consider some of the practical demands of the role, such as chairing meetings and working effectively with the clerk
- Understand how to take the lead on strategy and accountability
